DEMA Internship Program

Description: Internship program of DEMA has been organized since five years ago (since 2003) to invite fellows from different campuses working as intern in non-government organizations, communities or political parties. It appears as an alternative platform to involve participants in actual human rights advocacy and communities work which is not promoting work for money only but work for aspiration. It becomes an eye-opened journey and interns will be equipped the technique and skills of communication, file management, project handling in respective organization at the end of the internship. DEMA will also organize activities along the internship to involve interns in certain interaction or training programs and tasks as well, which seek to generate solidarity and comradeship in the learning process.

Objective:

1. To provide a platform to involve participants in actual human rights advocacy and communities work.
2. To equip participants a comprehensive understanding of Malaysia socio-economic situation through out different learning sessions.
3. To promote solidarity and comradeship within interns.
